Well..... rember a few posts ago i asked why you went with the t-5 tranny, well i picked up my m5 mazda tranny from the ford 1/2 and brought it home with the transfer case only to find that the damm transfer case is way to big for the space that i have, the t-case that i will have to use is one out of an 78' bronco, little bit over kill has cast housing so there will have to be extra supports. the nice thing about this is that the tranny has a hydrolic clutch slave that will plug into mine also this tranny is really beefy and also has o/d. So if this tranny of yours doesn't hold up to the stress this other tranny will work.

ok,
I have gotten a lot done and its getting real close....

I modified my ac box to clear intake a little better,

Herer a pic of the wiring. It had just arrived. Brett, left the wiring unwrapped for me so that I could munipulate each plug the length I wanted. I'll have pics of the final wrapped installation shortly. I will have that part finished over the next day or so. Maybe tonight.

I got my world class tranny with the installed AA adapter yesterday and it looks great... I will have pics soon. I also got my radiator coming.
It is a Ron Davis radiator 2 row 1" tubes Ford Double Pass Design, that is 19" X 28" with no filler neck. It has 18 fins per sqaure inch. It should be here next week. It is going to be a beast of aluminum good stuff... I am going to do another mod to the front support in order to fit it so stay tuned... The rad is setting me back a respectible 315.00 shipped. Ok so I am going to go finish wrapping up my custom harness and I will be back later with the unveiling of the wiring.

Oh yeah I also bought a ford motorsport intake elbow adapter with throttle body off of ebay for $56 shipped. Just waiting for it to arrive in the mail.

Items still needed...
-Mcleoud hydraulic throwout bearing
-Dual friction Centerforce clutch
-maybe an after-market intake
-E-Fan from flexalight (but I already have one I can use for now)
-High amp altenator
-Exhaust is already paid for just waiting on Chief to be finished
- miscleaneous stuff

That is unbelievable. You are a better man that I. You're patientence with this, and your extra time for detail is outstanding, you should be proud Tim.

All I can say is, Damn that's nice! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: Looks like it was supposed to be there from the factory. I'm very impressed in your detail work. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Brett Grooms did the wiring guys. He did an outstanding job! I just wrapped the harness with new convulent tubing, taped and "pinned" it into places where it would look the cleanest. Thanks for the compliments! I just finished wrapping it tonight. I will try to get pics on here tomorrow, wait till you see it. It looks Superb!
On another note, I Bought a different battery mount. It is exactly like the flame one I pictured before only it has CNC checkered flags instead of flames. It looks better than the other one, more detailed. Ill get pics of that too.

Any questions feel free to ask, I'll be glad to answer them to help someone else out.

Coming soon..... Tranny instalation with hydraulic clutch set up! Also, Custom aluminum radiator instalation.

How much did brett charge including all the shipping Tim? And did he tie in all the cruise controls and that stuff as well?

I am also in the middle of a swap right now i am about two minths behind you though (or more) Im kinda following your path here, only not quite so fancy.

Yng_pnk,
Brett Asked me not to say an exact amount due to the fact that he is still re-structuring his prices. I can tell you that shipping is about $25-$35. That was from my area code though, so yours will be different. You pay to ship it there and to return it which is cheaper because it will wiegh less upon return.
I will tell you this though, I checked everywhere
'windsor-fox' and the rest of them and Brett's pricing was right on par with the cheapest one. The main difference is He does the entire harness. You dont have to run a single wire, Others still require you to run ignition and a couple others. Everything Looks fantastic on it and you can tell him exactly where you put everything and what you are planning to use and he will accomodate the harness for you specifically.
Everything works, cruise, etc... I will take some pics right now of the finished wiring so you can see and post in a few... I am glad to hear that all this info is helping to make someone else's swap easier. Good luck with yours and if you have any questions or think of something I left out feel free to ask.

-Tim
