Chips?

has anybody ever had any problems with any type of chip for a 1 gen cause am thinking about buying one and some people say that there a wast of $$$$

Try apten, not a waste of $$$ in my experiance

how miles do you have on your 94 and what other mods. Usually the chip is one of the last things to go on because it can be programed to accomidate other modifications and you can get the most out of them (other mods)

i still have to get the money but im planing on putting in a 5.5 inch lift and putting in 4:11 gears with 33 or 34 tires for miles i got about 71,000 miles :smoke:

Your PCM is behind the passenger side kick panel.

no thanks i got a friend that works at a ford dealership and said that kind of chips have been real crapy and not worth it but thanks anyway

Of coures he would say that, he works for a Ford dealer.

I never had any trouble with it. Very noticable gains in performance, especially if you do the rest of the stage one upgrades (Air filter, MAS, Throttle Body).

The only reason I went with Apten was to get multiple programs due to gas prices.
