I think black wheels look nice on darker X's with bigger tires. If your explorer is lighter, go with the chrome.

I see you stay in Carrollton, I've got a few friends who go to UWG.

Black for sure

yeah my X is dark green and like the black on dark Xs
just gettin some opinions on this subject

yeah im in my senior year of high school but will prob be at BIG UWG next year

i personally like black rims on a trail vehicle but chrome for the show although they do make some pretty nice black rims. i did like how explorerchic had the black rims on her white explorer at one time though. but my color x dont think the black would go so well.

Same color as this one? I like chrome, But I don't like a lot of chrome. I agree that an off road truck should have the black steel rims.

different wheels and mine looks exactly like that
i like chrome to but not on a offroad truck
i think the black rockcrawlers would fit it perfect

Get some black steelies then. I personally like both. I wanted black rims for a long time, and was debating between the Rockcrawlers and some Eagle Alloy 589s. Would have been happy with either. Shiney rims need to be kept clean all the time otherwise they don't look nearly as nice though.

Black for serious off-roading (hides the dirt better)

Chrome for not so serious off-roading, if there is such a thing (cleaner look)
