If I can find them, I have some towhooks somewhere as well that I will bring.

I will also be bringing my portable CB for the non-compliant Phil who is so dedicated to FRS :D

Any specific kind I should look for at Ricer Zone? Where do they mount? How much am I looking at for a pair? ($)

<--- Currently Packing :p

Tow Hook

Autozone, but they can be found at Schucks, Napa, or any other. Just ask for tow hooks. Don't worry about where they mount, Phil and I will show you at camp.

I'll be tolling in on FRS channel 7 (not sure about this interference code 0 as mine has 1 to 38 and off), and CB channel 5. Monitor both, but I figure I'll roll into camp about 4 or 5 pm.

Found and packed my spare set of tow hooks.

I can't sleep....

But I'm ready to go now!!!!

I need to pick up 2 hooks, right?

I always have the trailer and if worse comes to worse we'll get you home. However, I know several that have carried a spare CV shaft. From what I remember, they aren't that exspensive and might even be the same for both sides. I watched GJarrett swap one out at the Moab camp ground in less than a couple of hours and saw another swaped in T-haven. They were both swaped at camp so that tells me there is some how a way to limp it back to camp.

To limp out you can remove the shaft between the two joints and cross your fingers I believe :D

I however did go buy a set. No time to change them tomorrow, but I really doubt it'll pop and if it does I gots spares...Perhaps you'll get to help change them in camp ;)

To all....... sadly I get to be the late comer, but should hopefully be leaving Seattle around 8 a.m. on Saturday.......

I probably won't bother coming home till late Sunday evening thanks to all the nice sections of stream between here and there......wanna wet a fly Phil :)

ok fella's Im up and getting ready to leave, have a safe drive into the meeting area and see you at 10..

Ok, getting ready to go. Rubber side down everyone! ;) :p :exporange   :thumbdwn:

If I didn't have Wonder Boy, I probably would. I'll give you my Yakima giude book and some hints about where to wade.

We'll be outta here in a little bit. :burnout: :frustrate :burnout: :chug:

Wish I was going, at least I should be up and running again for next time.
I have to ask, what is FRS radio?

Made it home and unloaded in record time. 32 minutes flat to have everything in it's parking spot w/ the camper unloaded. I can't wait until I have a comuter car so I can skip the unlading the camper part :D

Had a great time this weekend exploring trails that no one in the group has been on before. It was great scenery and fun wheelin'. I hope to explore that area more in the future.

Moose1, sorry you had to bail, hope everything works out for ya.

An FRS radio is one of those small radios that looks like a miniature walky talky. FRS stands for Family Radio Service, or something like that. Personally, I prefer CB's because they are louder and if your not holding the FRS radio, you can't here it. Kinda leaves one hand tied up all the time.

I's is back as well, and unloaded.......now for a shower and repairing the locker wiring.......of course in the opposite order that is..

Thanks everyone who came out.....

Kev... thanks for the experienced eye spotting us through the tight squeezes and etc.......

Phil and Kev... thanks for buying winches whenever you did. I think this trip could have got real crappy without em :D

96ex... I hope you enjoyed yourself and come out again

Moose.......you should have stuck around you would have had fun today ;)  :D

I'll get a few pictures up a bit later....for now I get to go visit the underside of my truck...

Did you take off before we could get aired/fueled up brice?

anyways, had a badass time guys! Thanks for all the moral support and advice. I was able to get outta there unscathed (sp?) and pretty damn proud of it.

I'm uploading pics right now, let me know if you want me to email mine to you.

thanks again everyone. I know having a "Stocker" with you guys slowed you down quite a bit, but I REALLY appriciate the attention to detail and safty. It was awsome meeting you guys and I hope we can plan another meet, even if it's not off roading ;) :D

OK, back from the Cub Scout meeting.

I didn't get many pics cause I was so busy with the winch  Good thing it goes front AND back   :D

Anyway, here are some.

BTW, Kevin is the only one that had to make repairs on the trail!!! :p :p
