hey there, I have a 91 Exploer and it was left unattended by the previous owner for about 5 years. All over the roof and hood are areas where I believe the clear coat has come up leaving white lines evrywhere. Has anyone a good idea as to how to remove.

Only way to remove it is to sand it down repaint some color and then clearcoat the whole panel.

You could probably minimize the white lines by using a polish of sorts that is available at any auto parts store. If your paint is wearing down the primer, then the only way to fix that is to repaint.

If you plan on keeping it then repaint. If you try & buff it then you will just remove any paint that might be there.

The paint on the roof of my Paseo is oxidizing. I guess the paint is 16 years old

What kind of polish do you recommend?
