What clearance issues are there with 15x10 wheel and 33x12.50 tires on a 98 explorer 2wd with a 3 in bl and trosion and leaf lift? im trying to decide if 33's are worth it or just settle for 32's

The lower valance, possibly bumper, lower corner of the fender, Tupperware or running boards if so equipped.

A 15x8 wheel would be much better if you don't have the 15x10"s yet.

Go with about a 3.5"-4.0" backspacing.

my dad has some 17x9 mondera b-52's hes going to sell me and im thinking about going 17x9 with a 33 or 32 tire but i cant decide whether go 17 and be different or 15 to make the tire bigger

I ran a 33 12.50 15 on a 15x10 inch rim with only a 3 inch spindle lift on my 2wd so I wouls think 33 would fit no problem with a 3 inch body lift and some TT.

I just finished putting on me 3'' BL and I had rubbing at the lower corner of my fender. I pulled off the running boards and did some minor trimming, and I only have about an inch to spare in the worst spot - do you guys think that's enough, or should I trim some metal back to give me more room? I feel like one inch isn't going to cut it in a turn or if I hit a bump, etc.

which package

which tire and wheel package should i go with .....so your saying i should be able to fit the 33" with 15x10 with only a 3 inch body?

Well I have my 33's on 15x8 with 3'' body lift and 2'' TT/Shackles, and there is enough rubbing where I'm going to have to trim sheet metal. You will have to do 2 inches beyond the BL at LEAST.

Price wise a 15" rim size tire is going to be a lot cheaper than a 17" rim size tire.

ya i was thinking that a 15 would also make the 33's and explorer look a lil bigger but who knows if i go with the 15x10 im going with crager soft 8's cheap steel chrome rim

Yea, I've got the soft 8's, they're awesome for the price.

where is the best and cheapest place to buy shackles for the rear. also any one know what the hell is wrong with the log in it says im logged in successfully and then it still asks me for my info and i have to do it about 10 times before it actually takes it?
