A little background: New plugs, wires, and coilpack last week. This cleared my P0171 and 174 DTC's. 143,000 miles on '01 V-6 SOHC engine.
So we've got temps in the upper 20's to low 30's in the mornings these days and if I do nothing but hit the key the engine will not find a proper fast idle in my opinion. It surges and then idle goes so low that it will probably stall unless I feather the throttle.
Any ideas? - this truck is new to me and I know little of Ford products anyway. Any help/ideas greatly appreciated. No codes at present.
Thanks in advance...
