Colored bulbs: Where??

well.. the SQ of a 12w0 isn't what I really wanted.. and I have had the same amp for 3 years. .I was stuck in the same power class.. I wanted to get a new amp and new subs for higher SQ and SPL. I looked at carbon fiber.. I think it would look cheap, I'm looking at the woodgrain.. and contacted the company about it today via email.. I hafta wait till I sell the amp and subs before I can get this kit

I got those same bulbs from Optiblue and I returned them because they looked purple. It's just my own opinion, but they don't really look superwhite.

I have apc clear corners, with apc super white bulbs, in the signals, and eurolite headlight bulbs, and it looks smooth, I will try to post some pictures

I got the APC superwhites and felt they were not white(bright) enough. So I got the rubber mounting socketts for the 195 type marker lights. Drilled a hole in the turn signal light body and put the socket in.
Malibu makes 12 volt yard light bulbs that fit the socketts. They come in 4, 7, or 11 watt size. Ive got the 7 watt bulbs in there now and am going to try the 11 watt size. Standard auto bulbs are 5 watt so these are noticably brighter. You can get them too big and melt the light. I dont know how big is too big yet but I'll let you know.
The bulbs are $3.oo a pair and the socketts are about $3.oo apiece.

Hmmm...I think since the Red APC lights I have now are doing quite well, I'll go with a blue set. Anybody got the website/link for APC?? Red and Amber bulbs came with my order from Autosyndicate.com with my clear tails/corners and they're working good...No fading....want 3 pairs of 3157 type Blue bulbs and 2 pairs of 194 type Blue bulbs.....Anybody got the website?

APC does not sel retail, they only sell to businesses. if you want a set of the 3157s reds.. which I would NOT recommend, they fade extremley quickly go to www.autoaccessory.com or autosyndicate or shop.sporttruck.com or even www.godfathercustoms.com

if you are getting the red 3157s for your taillights, I'd recommend some jamstrait 15 LED bulbs instead, I have a set in mine and they work very nicley, no fading, plus when the light is ont in use, there is no red glow from the lense.

This is a pic of my optiblue parking lights which are from Autodynamic.com.

I will get a better shot at night when I learn how to take pics properly at night. Without the flash this truck is pretty SWEET LOOKIN' just sittin' there with a couple of blue eyes staring at ya Dead Link Removed

Would the PIAA turnsignal bulbs match the headlight bulbs? (I don't see why they wouldn't) and do the polarg superwhites match up too?

I have a set of Jamstrait LED 3157 bulbs for sale for $30 if anyone is interested.

I don't run my optiblue's all the time. If I am traveling then I swap them out. I then use the superwhite #3157 bulbs and polarg #168 or PIAA wedge bulb. I think they look pretty good!! Not gonna find a brighter white then polarg or PIAA for bulb replacements.

if you didn't want to get into spending alot of money then you shouldn't have bought the clear lenses, didn't you look at prices before you bought them?
i just bought 3157 L.E.D lights from DirectPart.com for around 12.50 a peice , but that includes shipping, so its not to bad.
