Considering trade of 20 explorer limited for a used 20 st

I have a 2020 Explorer Limited that I got because the ST payment was just too high at the time. I love the limited but want the Performance of the ST. The ST I’m looking at has 8000 miles is priced at 43K, just trying to get ideas if this is something I should proceed with or wait? Depending if the numbers are right. I’ve heard of the ST having engine and transmission issues so that concerns me.

I just bought a new 2020 ST in early December. I have had zero issue with it so far, and it does not have any active recalls. Our ST was built in September 2020, so it is late production. I would suggest looking for a late production '20 which has had all of the known issues addressed at the factory.

There are threads/posts on transmission issues as you've experienced, but I don't recall off-hand any on engine issues.
