I put different sized tires on my 2006 Ford Explorer than the factory. They are 255 70 16. I want to know does that change the recommend tire pressure of 35 psi?

Which tires did you switch to and I could look it up for you?

You will go with the recommend tire pressure the manufacturer recommends for that particular tire.

What was the original size? Assuming the new size is not all that much bigger or smaller than original, go with the pressure recommended on the door jamb tag.
Don't go with what's on the tire sidewall, that's MAX pressure.

Tire size

The original tire size is 235 70 16.
