Im new to the site...Used to have a 1991 mazda protege for 6 years then the trans went out last september and with another kid on the way i went with the 2000 ford explorer eb. I noticed from when i got the truck the problem seem to just get worst. In the summer time it would start after like 30 sec of trying with no crank then it will crank with no problem and start right up . Since Jan started and we got all this snow in N.Y.C it cranks when it wants to...sometimes it take an hour or 2. Today i had to call out of work because it would not crank at all...i get internal lights, head lights and everything but thats it ...no click as if the batt is dead. I check the batt and the connections ( as bast i can 3am) and everything seems fine. Any ideas?
