Just got my 99 Explorer with EATC Control Blower fan to working again thanks to the suggestions from this post that led me to the speed controller. I went to Ford to purchase a new one and a whopping 138.00 bucks was crazy so I went to the JunkYard to see what I could find and no luck with Explorers but found a 2000 Crown Vic that had the same controller and the plug fit the only difference was the plug was on the side instead of the front but for 10 bucks I can live with the plug on the side. Now I have my fan to blowing cold air thanks to a 2000 crown vic's speed controller for only 10 bucks so just FYI if in need of a speed controller look at diff High End Fords and maybe you can find one that will work for you as well.
