i had thought in the past about sellin my 92 for a newer X. So i put her up for sale and tried to find what i wanted in a newer X. I looked and looked...but found nothing in my price range to my liking. So i decided to keep my 92 and just fixer up. this was all about 2 months ago.

the other day i was driving home, and i drive by this white 97 sport...i turn around just to take a look....
97 sport, White, 55,000 miles, for $9000. EXACTLY What i want down to the rims exact.
I am like NO!, why couldn't i find this 2 months ago? It seems like a kick ass deal. Its it incrediable shape. I am soo torn at what to do.....it just figures as soon as you start something , something new pops up... :(
*sigh*

keep the 92 and built it up.........97 is a nice truck but it all depends on what you want to use it for....

Off road = 92
daily driver = 97

The 97 Sport wouldn't have a V8, they never came with them. The point that 410 was trying to make is that the 1st gens are MUCH easier to modify for 4wheeling.

92= breakdown junker huh?? my 92 has 193,000 miles on it...ive had it for a yr now and i havent even had to change a sparkplug!! Its a daily driver for the most part. id drive that truck cross country and back and i bet it wouldnt break!:)

See if the guy selling it will hold it. You might have to give him some money to do that. Sell your Ex as quickly as you can. Try a used car dealership, see if they will buy it. If you really want that 97 you can pull some thing off.

man, oh man... so when I thought about selling my 1998 Sport with 46,000 miles for only $8,000.00 I was going to be way out of line??? man, I'm glad I have decided to keep it.

I do have a 94 - dependable off-road and daily driver as well.... and a 98 is my wife's baby driven only occasionally.
