Hey Guys, I'm new to the forums and am having a bunch of small problems with my '01 Sport Trac. Nothing too significant and most of it I've found fixes for, But one I couldn't find any help with is that my cruise control won't work. I've tried turning it on, and trying to set it but no lights come up and nothing will happen. Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

I checked the fuses, they're all fine. The buttons seem to be in good condition. None are cracked or missing. I have noticed when driving for at least 20-30 min the back of the buttons do get pretty warm. Not sure if that's unusual or not.

THanks

Thanks, I got the truck about 6 months ago, I'll check to make sure the previous owner took it in as soon as I get off work.

I took it in and got the recall taken care of a while ago when I first got the car. They did a crappy job and gave me an oil leak. I'm starting to doubt that they even did anything to my truck when I took it in

:scratch:Huh? The recall only consists of a new jumper harness and two tie wraps.
How would that cause an oil leak, or did you take it in for other work? Explain.

I did an oil change when I took it in for the recall. They never changed my oil just changed the oil filter. So I'm not sure if they took care of the recall too.
