Cruise Control Switch Honks Horn

I installed a new cruise control switch (OEM Motercraft) in my 2002 Sport Trac and now the horn sounds when the "off" button is pushed. Also the "speed control" light on the instrument cluster blinks about every 5 seconds.

Any ideas????

I solved it. Wire bundle going to "on/off" side was connected wrong. These connectors go on either way, so make sure you know how it came off.

The connectors can go on either way? It's Ford that is dumb. Glad you got it figured out
