Custom subwoofer boxes on 4th gen?

does anyone knows if the factory sub enclosure of the 3rd Gen is the same as the 4th Gen? i believe i've seen some pictures on ebay before and they look very similar.

I would say no chance since nobody make a custom enclosure for 4th gen but MTX, JL..... both make a custom box for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th gen explorers with a 10" driver.... this is why for a while I did not think ford even put one of those underpowered lack luster boxes on the 06-10 models... but there must be some other reason that they do not make a $600 solution
