ok i just bought a 93 x and want to lift it. i was going to do sas but then seen the post about cut/turn. i had done some looking and kind of understand
what to do just a few questions. i know no one will give up any mesurements
but maybe someone will help. i havev done a sas before its pain plus this is my daily driver. my question is when people talk about 2-3 or 4" is that the gap that is rewelded to give it the turn. and how much is to much. looking to get 33or 35 under it and have mad flex. any help would be get.

ive tryed it keeps saying page not found
 












Tim, i am getting ready to do a cut and turn on my 91 TTB. WHen they say a 3 inch cut and turn they are talking about the ned you cut off...rewelding it so that it is ponting 3 inches higher than where it was before the cut. Hey shoot me an email if you would at c130marine@yahoo.com

When you cut it be sure the measure from the center of the pivot hole to the center of your upper ball joint. You have to re-weld it to that exact measurement to maintain proper track width. If done right you will need a custom built longer passenger side outer axle shaft.
