Well I was changing the ball joints and tie rod ends on my girlfriends escort. I ended up putting a small 2-3mm hole in the outer CV boot on the drivers side. Tried patching.... no luck.

How hard it is to replace the boot? I did the tie rod, ball joint, brakes, shocks with no problem. Doesnt the axle just slide out of the trans after I take the inner boot off?

You could get a replacement boot, and add new grease to the joint if the joint is in good condition. Make sure that the old grease is completely removed before you add new grease. There is a split boot kit that is a quick repair, but a solid boot is better, but harder to install since it has to go around the whole axle. The outer boot is easier to repair since you wouldn't have to remove the entire axle, but just the spindle. You have to use a horse shoe style adapter connected to a slap hammer to pull out the entire axle from of the transaxle if you want to replace the inner boot. I made your video a sticky in that section for you.

Ill give it a shot. I think i need to remove the 32mm nut on the hub correct? Then does the outer boot just slip off of the axle after I get the spindle off?

The boot has special clamps that are pinched with a special tool to take up the slack. You have to remove the nut holding the front of the axle to the spindle, and move the spindle out of the way by disconnecting the ball joints, and control arms.
