What I thougt was a GEM issue turned out to be a faulty DRL module. I noticed that the DRL were flickering a while back, then stopped working all together. I didn't care since I don't like them. Then a short in the module roasted some wires in the harness that control electronics to fuse #27. I had Ford simply bypass the DRL module when repairing the harness. Now I won't have to worry about having another one of Ford's POS DRL modules toast my electronics again. Hope this helps someone, someday.
