Ok, I understand that the body lift will only lift the body and leave the drive train in the same exact spot. But Does the suspension lift basically just put everything higher except the wheels? Also is it a bad Idea to install both, please tell me the pros and cons of installing either of the two. Thank you.

Hmm how to respond to this. Well with the suspension lift you are changing how the suspension sits on the vehicle. Let's say doing a 6" lift. The rear springs come from under the axle to on top of the axle and in the front depending on the year you are dropping the front axle down away from the frame. What you are accomplishing is being able to get more articulation out of the suspension. So where the wheels may have only traveled 10" before the lift you may now be able to get 17" of travel. Add larger tires and the vehicle is taller and also improves clearance under the vehicle.

I have seen vehicle with both body and suspension lift or big body lift and budget suspension lift. Sometimes its hard to tell the difference from a vehicle with only a suspension lift.

For example my trail rig has a 6" suspension lift but seeing it sit beside my DD with 1.5" lift coils f150 spacers, and rear lift shackles and AAL they seem almost the same height. But the cost to do each is vastly different.

I hope I answered your questions. With newer models you have to get lift knuckles (don't know the exact term but the A-arm ones) since the IFS is different.
