DIY rear shackles?

Does anyone have any input on the idea of making my own leveling shackles out of 1/4" mild steel?
What is the distance bolt to bolt on the shackle to achieve 2 " of lift ? Put in New F code rear springs and it didnt lift the rear back to level.

Take the bolt to bolt distance on your current shackles and add 4” to get 2” of lift.
