do they make 2wd x in canada?

Well hello everyone i am knew here thought id just clear that up so if i put the wrong question or didnt put it in the right place my bad.

anyways i got a 4x4 94 xlt and i am currently looking for a explorer between 90 and 95 i went to the ford dealer **** to find out a paint code and asked the guy and he has never heard of a 2 wheel drive explorer so is the 2wd only made in the states or something?

the 2wd is all over the place, in Colorado the dealers do not stock them really because the weather means you need AWD or 4x4. So it may be that you can find a 2wd at a dealer in an area where they dont get snow....

i been looking high and low for one and cant seemto find em all over onlineand everything all i get is 4x4 which i dont need cause i already have a 94 x thats 4x4 i went to the ford dealership and the dude said he has never heard of a 2 wd explorer in his life so i thought maybe only in the states, i need one! and i got the money so now gotta find some who wants to make some cash!

I live in oklahoma and drove to Ohio 13+ hours to get my 2wheel drive. Then again everyone tells me there all over. I still have trouble finding a 2 wheel here....
2 wheel second gen that is. I have a 2wheel 1st gen and 2nd gen.

yep no kidding i ended up with 2wd X and i was'nt even looking for it when the dealer told me he had X i thought it was gonna be 4x4 nope turn out to b a 2wd no biggie to me just fewer parts that can break

They make ALL Explorers in the US. They rarely shipped 2WD versions up here, but they do exist. I've factory ordered Explorers twice (once a '93 and once a '97). I could have got 2WD both times if I wanted them. I didn't want them.

Its rare to find a 4x4 in texas. The Grocery getter moms dont want the 4x4 so the Dealer never stocks any 4x4s just 2wd. had to make my own 4x4 LOL
