It's the trim piece/handle for the sunroof shade cover. Mine crumbled when I replaced the headliner and I need a new one. The part number on the plastic piece is 753 684 718 but I can't seem to locate it on the interwebs. Any help would be appreciated. And if u have one to sell let me know.

JY/pick n pull is gonna be your best bet. Highly doubt you’ll find any NOS

There's not specifically a part number for the handle, but there is one for the sunshade and its discontinued.

Junk yard is probably going to be your best bet like c420 said

I can't tell how much clearance there is on the back, but if all else fails, and if you have (almost) all the cosmetically needed broken bits, I'd consider trying to epoxy-fiberglass it back together from the back, maybe using JBWeld slow set epoxy since it is more sandable than clear types of epoxy, and sets to a (maybe) similar or only a shade or two darker, shade of gray. I'd put some clear packing tape over the seams on the visible side to limit epoxy leakage while setting it upside down to cure.

Option #2, make one out of wood, painted gray. It doesn't really need the finger slots does it, just to stick down a little to grab? The picture does not make the mounting options clear to me, possibly a thin plastic or metal plate behind the fabric panel, then screw the new DIY wooden handle to that? Not sure if weight would be an issue.

I tried to fiber glass it but the back side had way to many grooves and high points. i ended up making of out of wood, not as fancy as the original but it will work. Thanks for the ideas

We wanna see this!

I ended up using a 1/4" sheet of wood I had lying around and painted it black. I should have made it a little wider than the original plastic piece was. I couldn't find screws short enough to not pierce through the wood so I just grinded off the tip of them..i need to touch up the paint. There are some scuff marks from when the hood slides back into the roof. Overall I am happy with it

Hey man, that looks good to me! If you hadn't told me it was broken I would have just thought it was a nice wood texture!

That’s nice, and it blocks the openings in the OEM handle 👍
