Dad's been waiting for his '22 since Aug order. Last email from ford mentioned last week as their expected delivery. No call from dealer. So Dad decides to check in personally this AM. As he pulls up he notices a new Explorer in his color. Well he had written down the vin ford disclosed in the email. He checks and wow, it's his! They say it was delivered Firday (xmas eve). Today's Wednesday.

i'm going to order clown shoes for the salesman.

Given the current market for new vehicles, they probably hoped you and your dad forgot so they sell it at a mark up.

Was the salesman there or perhaps on holiday? The other thing is that they may have been waiting to make contact until the post delivery inspection was completed.
