door lock

hi every body iam having a problem went i lock the drivers door and then i pull on the handle the doors open with out puting the key or the code i got a 1995 explorer limited

hi, can you lock it as well? if not, maybe the rod fell off. i know i just had a BIG TIME problem with my door. you couldn't open it from the inside or outside (try getting a door pannel off when the door is closed, and it's -15c outside, not fun). i ended up replacing the latch and handle (springs where broken on handle).

yes went i lock it it make the sound like is closed but went i look at the lock knob is not allthe way down like the other ones and went i pull the handle the door opens an activate the alarm

try taking off the door panel and watch the the rod to see if travels up and down fully, if it doesnt, give the rod a little tweaking, if that doesnt work, i would say you would have to replace the latch in the door.

if somebody can help me i went arlier down to my car open the door as usual and went i closed the door i slame the door pretty hard and the door lock !what can it realy be the problem o and another thing dosent open with the key i need to open the door with the code if not the alarm go off

my drivers door wont lock period. and i dont know what needs to be replaced. if its the lock or what.
