my '92 is in need of exhaust before the snow flies. i would like to run duals from the cats back. would like to go 2 1/2 or 2 3/4. is that possible? can i get it from a company like boarla? help!

You can run duals from the cat back, using a y-pipe, and keep the spare tire! Some shops will tell you that you can't, but what do they know...

Note that the driver's side pipe will be a lot longer than the pass. side pipe; you'll likely get a lot less flow out of the longer pipe. It's up to you if you want to be concerned about this.

2 1/4 or 2 1/2 inch diameter pipes are best for your truck; any wider, and you might lose a little low-end torque and get a nasally loud sound.
