dynamat & stealthbox

i am putting a stealth box with a jl audio 10w6 sub in it. do you think i will need to dynamat the back area around the box.

What do you mean exactly? Do you mean put dynamat on the back area inside? Dont do that it will mess up your sub i was told this by leenjen. If you mean put it on the back of box from outside i see no reason for it. Just dynamat the cargo area (metal) where it will be setting.
