The most you can probably run in our trucks is a mixture of 5% ethanol 95% regular gas. I wouldn't want to run much more than that.

Thats the stuff i am talking about.

after i cleaned it up on a spell checker

NO you can not run red diesel in your X, it is the same thing as regular diesel. It just has a dye in it to color it red, It is also colored red because there is no highway tax on it.

exactly. its red so if they do checks on vehicles its easy to tell if the person with the vehicle was useing it.....we are down to 2.94 now....hope it goes evenmore.

Actually many places in the country only sell regular gas which contains 10% ethanol. That's the way it is around here. All of the gas contains 10% ethanol.

Many states have laws stating that the gas HAS to be 10% ethanol.

any body can run up to 10 % without any problem at all for all the 02 and up x's you must have a "K" in the middle of your vin

E85 may be cheaper, but you also get a lot less miles per gallon. It is not a way to save money. Putting a gallon of E85 in is cheaper than adding a bottle of dry gas to get rid of water in the tank. That's the problem with alcohol mixes. If not fresh, you might be paying for water too.
