Well, I just snagged a room at the Hazleton Motor Inn for $38/night :D. They currently have more rooms available. I'm waiting on a call back from the Forest Hill Inn to see if they will give us a group discount. I'll edit this post if they want to play ball. When I called the Forest hill, the night manager seemed a little clueless, so hopefully the day manager will have a better idea.

On edit, the Forest Hill quoted me a rate of $51 so I'm gonna stay with the Hazleton Inn.

Anybody want to go in on a room at Hazelton? Sounds like a decent price there.

Draper, any word from Hazelton?

That's sounds cool. Ya go ahead and call them, I'll give you the money that weekend. I'll be there Firday night and Sat night.

Do we need to make reservations now? I made mine about a week in advance last time and had no problem...Did anybody find out if we get the Paragon discount?

Alright i just called and go us some reservations, $38 per night, 2 nights, non-smoking (hope that's cool), up to 4 people.

One more thing, who has acutally been to the Hazleton Inn? Who runs it, i called and talked to what i think was a lady, that was spanish maybe, she had to give the phone to someone else because i couldn't understand her, the second person wasn't much better. I felt bad because i couldn't understand her. I hope everything went okay with the reservations though!

Happy trails!!

My reservation is at the Hazleton Inn too. I would have rather stayed at the Forest Inn, but they would only give 10% off thier basic rate, which was still way above the Hazleton Inn.

As for the lack of English being spoken, you would be AMAZED at how many Mexican immigrants work in central and northern PA. We had one of the local packaging companies get busted, and they arrested over 200 illegal Mexican immigrants!!! Who would have thought they would be in the middle of PA!!!

Hey Chris, I oughta stop at your new house and try out those 33's on my truck before we hit the trails. Whaddya Say???
:D :D :D

Spas--yeah, it is only $38 dollars by saying paragon! You might want to brush up on your spanish before you call, makes it easier, haha!!

Jeff, that is kind of a shocker, in the middle of PA, that's kind of funny though. When we went on the trip to Harrisonburg, it was the same way, i guess cause we were kind of close to DC.

Happy trails!!

Well here ya go, granted, its not 100% level, but close as hell, and thats with a TT up front, NOTHING ELSE!, SOA in the rear, a 3" body lift, and 35's on 15" rims.

WHAT DO YA THINK???

Wow

Looks great Chris.....

I'm not sure about the Hazelton Inn guys....I don't know where it is....I just don't want no bugs....I'd go camping if I wanted bugs...:hammer: :bounce: I think I'll stay with the Forrest Hill Inn and you can all let me know for next time what you think of the Hazelton.

Karol

hey, if we have time while we're there maybe i could put on somebody's 33 incher to see how it fits, i'm getting a new set of tires this summer at the bloomsburg truck show and i'm trying to figure out if i should stay at 32 or go to 33 and trim a bit. i'll be staying at 7th and peace street in hazelton for the trip anyway.

Hey just outa curiosity, is anyone else going to the Trail Guide/4WD Awareness Program, through Paragon? its on the 23rd of this month, and if you complete all 3 courses they give you "Trail Guide" status at Paragon. Ill be there.....

Man, why does stuff always get scheduled when I'm busy doing something else :(. I'd love to go through that course!! Hey Chris, when you go, see if you can find out when the next one is offered. I checked the website, and they didn't list it.

Wow Lizardtrac that does look really good.

>Spas is probably going to ride with Lizard since she can only afford to either A) pay to get in and wheel, or B) rent a hotel room for the night, lol< Besides, I'm dying to try out my new camera on everybody....

Speaking of, I'd like to get a big group shot of all of us in the morning before we hit the trails, PRIOR to the mud flinging ;)

that group pic sounds like a great idea. i might have my digital up here by then as well.

jeff, i mailed my 20 out the other day, let me know when you get it. where is everyone gonna be staying so i can meet up with you guys saturday morning or friday night if we need to register and what not? looks like i'll be bringing a few friends to ride along with me, its their first time wheeling. i just hope i can get enough time to get my tow hooks and spare tire mounted next weekend when i go home.

Group pic sounds cool and doing it prior is a good idea, we never could seem to get that right....LOL
