Yall get ur X's all hicked up and ready for a mud flingin, rock crawling, axle brakin, kick a$$ weekend!!

Lizard--Not sure about the axle breaking part but i'll be ready!! hahaI'll watch you break an axle how about that?:p

So are there many water crossing there, if so how deep can we expect these to be? I'm just trying to get a feel for what i need to do to get ready. Oh another question, for those of us who have a locker and 31+ tires or for anyone who just wants to, what class are we going to be in? I mean, i know i can't hang with you big guys, but i do want to try some harder stuff, how's this going to work out? Thanks!

Happy trails!!

31's with 2" of lift and a locker are all I will have when I go (well, skid plates and rock sliders too), and I'll be doing level III trails. That's about the max for anyone in our groups. I don't think we have any X's on the list that are capable (YET) of doing more. None of us are currently up with the big dawgs although a couple have the plans laid out.......

Water depth is up to you. You can do none, or tens of feet deep if you're nuts. Lizardtrac and I watched a guy last time we were there bury his Bronco in 4 feet of the wet stuff. I personally avoid anything deeper than the axles after watching Karol sieze a motor.

COUNT ME IN
JUST LET ME KNOW THE WEEKEND :p :p :p :p :p

Just got a reply back from Paragon on the price: It's $35 per truck and an additional $125 (total) if we want a guide.

Geez, so does that take place of the 20 that we were suppose to send you or is that on top of the 20? I say the heck with a guide. If there have been a couple of guys there before then good. If we have the trail map then we'll be okay right? Not like we're going to get lost!

Happy trails!!

Problem being that only a couple of us have been there b4, and I would guess between Jeff and I, we could guide well enough, but we both wanna hit the harder trails. we might need a guide for the easier trails. what do ya think Jeff?

Jeff, is that $125 for a guide for all weekend or just one day?

I asked how much per person for a 2 day weekend and he responded with the $35 and $125 amounts, so I would say for the weekend.

Jot017, the $20 goes towards the total fee, not on top of it. If we have 15 trucks going, the guide is only $8.33 each... not too bad, so the total for the weekend per person would be $43.33.

I see, sorry for the confusion. So should we go ahead and send you the 20 bucks and then settle the rest later?

It is up to the 2 of you if you have been before. Personally, i don't see what the guide will do for you. I mean, we have a map right? I'm i missing something here with the guide. I've never been to a park like this that is why i am asking. Thanks for clairfying for me! I swear i'm not crazy, just a little  !!

Happy trails!!

I would like for everyone to post their age, and make sure they have read the following exerts from the ECX rules.

#7 Respect the land you are on.
The East Coast Xplorers will have no part in offroading on property you do no have specific permission to do so. Also, remember to leave the land as you found it, no tearing up plant life or littering.

#8 The East Coast Xplorers Club, it's Event Moderator, Coordinators, and members cannot be held responsible/liable for anything.
You are responsible for anything you do to your vehicle, yourself, your passengers, or any other property. You view our website and come to our events by your own free will and make your own decisions. Therefore, you are the sole person responsible for your actions, be they accidental or not.

#9 All members and guests at an East Coast Xplorers event must display an ECX group membership verification slip to be a part of the group.
Group membership verification slips will be handed out at the beginning of each event to each member and guest who has signed the general waiver. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by his/her legal guardian, who also will have to sign the waiver, along with a waiver for the participant under 18. Any member or guest without an ECX membership verificaion slip will not be considered a member of the group at the event, relieving the East Coast Xplorers of any and all responsibities. This does not mean you are not / cannot be a member of the club outside of the event.

We will have the waivers to sign and slips to pass out at the event. No big deal, just like signing a form to go on a school field trip back in the day. :)

Uh oh, I'm not old enough!!! (emotionally that is :D )

Seriously though, you must be 18 to drive at Paragon unless accompanied by an adult. That is one of the rules of Paragon (Paragon requires you to sign a waiver to this effect), so we need to be sure everyone going is at least 18 or has a guardian with them.

Does the money have to be paid beforehand or can i pay the day of? oh yeah and im 19 and i went wheeling @ paragon march 2nd and it ruled. Im also wondering what trails you guys are gonna be running. My truck (2" lif& 31s) can only really hand class one and 2 trails. Is there gonna be any one else running these trails or would i be the only one? And if im gonna be the only one wanting to do these trails would there be any one willing to give me a ride in thier truck because i still wanna go. :)

I'll only be running the 1 and 2 trails also. There are a few others that I am sure will be doing the same.

Well, i plan on leaving kinda early on friday cause i have about an 8 hour drive, so my name is Josh and i'm 22.

By the way, are we actually doing anything on friday? This will help me decide what time i will be leaving. I'm going to be camping out somewhere cause i'm cheap and i love to camp, so if anyone else is camping then maybe we can hook up. I'm hoping to bring my fiancee but she doesn't like wheelin to much so we'll see.

How about the money Jeff, do i owe you any more. I know i do but i guess i'm just asking if i need to mail another check to you or just pay when we meet? Thanks!

Happy trails!!

Heh

I think that I will be staying at the Forrest Hill Inn that weekend....

Karol

Jot that sounds fine to me. I went to paragon for my first time march 2nd as one of the sponsored trail rides and it was awsome. The entrance into the place is almost scary. The directions to the place tell you to "turn left at the water tower." There are no signs its just a trail with no trespassing signs on both sides. My friend and i thought we where lost but then we came into a clearing and it contained over 70 trucks :)
