Do y'all think they would work?

I was going to go order tmh but ordering is blocked and I can't wait one-two years.

Passenger side maybe, drivers side no way.

If headers were that straight forward and inexpensive on our trucks, we'd all have them.

The drivers side is a really tough fit, and is pure custom work.

Yeah it's just I have everything els ready to go in but headers and tune, 1.7 rr, and a 5speed with t case from a f150 with everything I need. So I would hate to do a tune and not have the headers.

If you find an alternative to torque monster headers we would all like to know.

the other problem you might have with those is the passengers side might aim right into the fire wall

The pipes are only part of the problem. No mustang ever had gt40 p heads, the bolt holes will not match up. Well, they do, but it throws the port location off. The flange will protrude over the exhaust port of the head.

I don't have the gt40p's I have the gt40 heads and I know mustang headers fit them fine I use the same engine with mustang headers in my dirt track car the p heads are offset.

i still haven't installed mine from the group buy.. i cant install myself and dont want to pay 800 to have someone do it. maybe eventually mine will be up for sale

Well your not too far from me. That would cut down on shipping costs.
I'm just not sure if there will be much gain once I get my turbo off the ground (No pun intended).
I'm sure you will have no issue if you decide to sell, and I just might be the guy to purchase them.

What really sucks is five or six years ago I had my hands on two sets at a local tiny junkyard and at the time I just said look at those crazy looking things, now I wish I had three sets for the three in my driveway

I may just do the 5 speed and tune no point in 1.7 without headers.

Mine currently has 1.7's with an opened up exhaust.
I can't comment on the difference in power, as I bought the truck this way.

We can get in to a discussion on 1.7's, but thats another thread. I'll just say that everything I read says 1.7's don't make a huge difference in flow numbers, headers or not. Keep in mind that I have nothing to base this on except what I have read (I take everything I read on the internet as the absolute truth...hahahaha).

Yeah I have read that they make a difference and that they don't, I really wanted the header swap but like I said I may just do a tune and 5 speed then if I get lucky and get a set of tmh I'll just retune.

i work in a warehouse shipping stuff everyday. we get a HUGE deal shipping stuff out with ups as we have an account and what not. i bet i could get them to you for less than 30 bucks
