The siren I installed is connected directly to the battery as per the instructions. It's constant powered & draws .03 amps just sitting there idle.
Will this drain my battery? How much of a load is .03 amps?

Thanks

It won't be a problem if you use the Explorer every day or so. But if you let it sit for long periods it will slowly suck the battery down. .03 amps is really low. Over 3 hours it would pull about 1 amp from the battery, you have like 190 "Amp Hours" of reserve in the battery.

I have several gadgets that draw low current constantly from my battery and I barely drive the truck. I have found the battery down to 10 volts after a few weeks of sitting, so now I keep a floating charger on the Explorer whenever it's parked in the garage.
