I just had my radiator replaced at 61,000 miles on my 2006 Mountaineer and if you haven't yet, count yourself lucky. Anyway, I took it to a very well known and respected local shop instead of Ford because I wanted a quality part reinstalled, not another pos and the price. I noticed the radiator shop placed green fluid, not orange, for the refill, anyone think this will be a problem since the system was flushed and replaced? I would think if it carries the same protection it should be ok and this isn't the first 2006 Explorer/Mountaineer radiator they have replaced. I will call the radiator shop tomorrow just to make sure. Thank you all!
