I have a 01' 2wd ST and I wanna get a better exhaust system. Does anybody have any recommendations to increase HP and Noise?

I've got the mangna flow cat back....couldn't tell the the hp gains, but the sound is amazing....I love it, and so do my friends...

pretty sure you can hear it on other ppls tracks if you search you tube...
thats what I did

i like my 2 1/2 inch 50 series flowy back no cats. sounds real mean and has a bit more torque and HP

nice...no cats...how was the gain there? I was thinkning about cutting mine out and replaceing with a straight tube...either that, or getting a custom down pipe made...

i got dual 40 series flows on my 01 sport and it sounds real loud and deep.

samo1xplr.. where did you purchase your dual 40 series flows, and did you have to custom install it to go around the spare tire or does it just install already around the spare tire. and how much did you get it for?

i got my dual 40 series flows at a muffler shop and I still got the spare tire on my 01 sport. I paid 275 bux for mine.

Previous owner had the 70 series big block II muffler and it was so quiet I didnt like it at all so i went and asked a muffler shop which was the loudest and deepest flowmasters. And they told me the 40 series. So I went and got the dual 40 series flowmasters.

I love how it sounds but it has a rattle on when I am on idle or at a red light but i paid 275 bux for it to get installed.

my magnaflow is pretty quiet at idle...sound amazing when you turn the key, and is pretty loud if you stomp on it. it's good thought if you don't want to wake the neihbors late at night, easy on the throttle, and it's nice and soft...
