Explorer Build Week of June 6, 2011

Does anyone else have a build week this week? It has been 8 weeks since I placed my order and hopefully should receive my X this month. Also not sure how long the process takes when it actually enters the production line.

Mine is getting built this week, I placed the order on april 22nd and the build date was June 6th, but now june 10th. I already got my window sticker and it confirms the build date at june 10th. I hope to get it by end of month.

I ordered my X on 3/9, it was built on 5/2, and delivered to dealer on 5/20. So it takes nearly 2 months to build and a couple of weeks after that for it to be delivered to your dealer. Make sure you get your rebate from April, the dealer will honor it through the Incentive Protection Plan.

I believe that once it is on the assembly line it only takes 2-3 days to be built. Now shipping it out is another matter!

I ordered 4/8 and got window sticker 6/4 and it says build date of 6/9 so i guess we will see in a couple of days.
