Hello
My Explorer is two incheds higher on the right hand side. and today I changed the rear leaf springs(left) on the Explorer and its still leans on the side where the gas tank is.I used a stick to check all four sides and all are two inches lower than the rear right. so I replaced the right hand side with the spare(left). I replaced shocks ,leaf springs,tires...
Does anybody

Ok, I think I found a band-aid for this. As I have the same problem on my 91EB. (See old posts.)

Now gang, don't flame me on this as it is a temp band-aid until I put in the JD lift. But it did work.

I was in AutoZone and found those cheesy urethane suspension blocks that you insert between the coils. They were only a few bucks so out of desperation I picked up the 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 set (depending which way you install them) I've started with the 1 1/4 position for now and installed them in the middle of the spring as that section was the most compressed. Two things to note: I did install them on both sides and although the directions said to put them 45 degrees apart I put them 180 as it seemed to work the best.

After installing I am about 1/8 from being level. And the front end came up 1".. Much better than before. This weekend I'll try moving them to the 1 1/2 position but it was pretty tight in there.

This will probably change the allignment but at this point anything I can do to help wear out the LTX 235's is a bonus. (Honest honey they were cheap tires. We need to replace them with 31's)

Bottom line is our springs are shot. This is yet another "Honey" excuse for the JD lift.

Good luck.
