EXPLORER SPORT 31.10.50.R15 ON STOCK RIMS?

WENT TO BJ'S AND SAW BFG TIRES FOR 99.00 BUCKS THEY HAD TO SIZES 30.9.50 R15 AND THE 31.10.50 R15 I HAVE STOCK RIMS WITH NO LIFT..
ANYONE OUT THERE FITTED 31.10.50 R15 ON A EXPLORER SPORT?

Yep! I've had 31" Dunlop Rover RVs on my '97 Sport for 3 years!! No rubbing at all.

Becareful with that. The newer Explorers have larger openings and don't have any problems fitting 31". Some '91-'94 can and some can't.

I'm running BFG 31x10.5s on my '92 but I've also got a 2" Skyjacker lift FWIW.

I dont think that the Sport can fit the 31x10.50 I have 30x9.5 and I have no problem. I would like to have 31x10.50 butI was told this is the biggest I can go with out rubbing...

I'm running 31 x 8.50's on my 91 Navajo. They rub at full turn, but the time they give me trouble is parking. Mine are Buckshots so their not as wide as some others because they're made to dig. You experiance less trouble if you go with a tire like that.
