Hi guys,,,Im living here in the philippines, and drive a 2002 sport trac 4.0 ltr
After market parts here are a P.I.T.A it get, but I need front shocks, there is a Ford dealer here who has the stock shockers on the shelf, and it looks like this is what I will have to settle for,,Question...Are they ok, the truck is gently driven on good roads, and the shocks are 5000 Pesos. ea...thats about $115 US bucks ea....good brands are unheard of in this place,,,,wots your thoughts ?

Anything but the stock shocks unless it's just that much more expensive for an aftermarket set.
 






Agree, buying OEM shocks is a waste of money, IMO.
Almost anything aftermarket would be an improvement.
 


















Will do mate.thanks,,,,,oh and Iv finally found a Rancho distributor here in Mindanao,,,for a cost of 4,000.00 Pesos each for the sport trac, thats about $ 93.00 US....each..they are good shockers, and I will go for them despite the inflated prices
 






Hey Rigdog7...I got me a set of Bilsteins for the front,,great stuff,,now a question, on the front UCA's the camber adjusting lugs are as specified on the right side, however on the left they (ford) are like square shims (non adjustable ?) so wot does a bloke do when he replaces the UCA's ,,put the square things back ? and only adjust the RHside camber ?? is this common, I think I read about this somewhere before, didnt think too much of it till I looked at mine, and there it was
