I'm not 100% sure but I think if you have tow package, you'll have an aux tranny cooler. Also, in late model year, a hitch.

Well i have a hitch on my bumper...does that mean anything?

You have a '94. I'm not too familiar with 1st Gen. but I think Ford did not offer the hitch until the 3rd Gen. So yours must be an aftermarket that the previous owner bought.

If you're talking about the hole in the bumper to mount a ball. Everyone up until the 02+ 4-doors has them. Good for towing little stuff and the like.

From my understanding there are 3 things you need to have the tow package:
1. LS diff in the rear
2. Connector mounted on the frame up between the exhaust and bumper. Gray thingy with a cap on it
3. Aux. Tranny cooler.

I have 2 out of the 3. I'm missing the tranny cooler, so I'm not 100% positive if I have it or not. But from what I know thats it. It did not include a hitch(but its a towing package)

you will have a bigger radiator (not sure the size?) than the normal explorers and a tranny cooler that you can see infront of the radiator through the grill
