I recently bought a 95 suburban & I want to protect the body below the two-tone stripe. Rocker panels, under the bumpers, etc. Basically, I think you'd have to pull the bumpers off, mask everything but the bottom 12-15" and spray a color matched coat of rhino liner, herculiner, etc.

Is this a project worth undertaking at home? I'm not sure what the procedure is for surface prep (although I hear that you should keep it off your hands and that you shouldn't take a whiz while putting it on your truck).

If I were to pay a bedliner/body shop to do this, what would be a fair price? Ballpark?

Any help would be great!

I also want to rhino line my dodge pickups interior so it will be waterproof but like you I have no clue to what the pricing is.

I want to know too...thought about it myself

i called ziebart awhile back to see about getting my rockers done and they wanted like 375 dollars so i did it myself with a kit from autzone for 60 dollars

but can you get any colour?

texture

I've searched & found that some guys are disappointed because the rhino material is very bumpy and holds dirt, holds cleaning sponge pieces, etc.

Are there varying degrees of texture available?

Im not shure how rhino lining works, but It seems that the color would be in the substance itself, not just on the top layer, I dont see why you couldnt sand the rhino lining smooth, then buff it back to a nice finish...possibility...?
