fast Q... spline count on 8.8

are all spline counts on the Explorer and Ranger 8.8" 31 count? Anyone know about the Mustang? I'm mostly concerned with the years from 95 to present, and need to know ASAP!!!

I thought so...I thought the mustangs were 28 spline.

Yes Mustangs are 28 splined.

Yes, all the '95+ Explorer axles are 31 spline. Most of the '91-'94s were too, there were a few 28 spline axles installed in early Explorers.

And Rangers can have either 28 or 31 spline, I think it depends on what motor they came with.
