s/c .... who said anything about rock climbing with it :), seriousily need to get a few more ponies under the hood, thinking 5.4 swap :) after the fenders and maybe a roll me cage, sas, more lift... the list goes on and the 5.4 is in there somewhere or if i can just beef up the 4.0 till the tranny screams at me

btw do they make a bolton s/c kit for my x? (2000 4.0 sohc)

ok i am starting the prep work for the fenders, i ripped the in fender out and found all the bolt holes. scrubed it down and gave it a fresh rattle can coat to clean it up

need to get some exhaust manifold paint or something

and yes i know about the rotor... it will be ok.. while doing the front gears my pops didn't tight down the spindle nut and after clean up i was like all set? he siad yes and 5 minutes in the test drive it came off.. lucky that and a new wheel bearing assm was all that was needed.

5.4L conversion?

This makes no sense....

i figured it would be easy find one and cheap. and have you driven a triton 5.4?

at any rate i need my ponies under the hood in a bad way.. i can deal with it for now.. any suggestions?

5.4s and 4.6s are way too wide to fit. Explorer Express makes a bolt on s/c kit for the SOHC.

darn, well i guess i go with a 302 and a mild build on that
