So i really want a cowl hood and i looked into bolt on scoops and for what one will cost me about 60 bucks more will get me a custom built fiberglass one.

But i'm worried if i roll (it will be caged) that my hood will be destroyed. How do fiberglass body parts hold up offroad?

Most rollable off road vehicles dont really have scoops and most body panels are just zip tied on or other removable methods.

So basically try my hardest not to roll?

If you roll.... destorying your fiberglass hood would be the least of my worries:rolleyes:

Thats true -- you've got other major body panels to worry about

That's what I was thinking, too.

You could try building a "custom" cowl with the hood you have now, if you are feeling adventurous. I think they sell just cowls that you could install on the current hood.
