Well, I got me a good deal on some used tires from a friend of mine who has worked on my previous X but now he had some used 31x10.50-15's...that he is mounting and balancing for me on my new aqquired X...I know it's a slow progression but this truck is in really good condition for it's mileage and age, just trying to make it look good for a little while before I get the engine rebuilt in 30 or 40,000 miles...Looking at maybe a 3" TT since I'm 2wd and have no CV's to worry about...plus shackles and procomp leafs when funds proceed...going to the salvage yard tomorrow and hopefully they will have some 15" explorer/ranger rims there that I can get for a cool price...and if all goes well I will get you all pictures tomorrow...but, keep in mind this will be only 31x10.50's with no lift for right now trust me I got plenty of room with no lift...also in reguards to the 3" TT would you guys recommend one of the larger millameter bolts from fastonal>??? not sure if I spelled that right thx...have a great friday and weekend...Kyle...just for future junkyard reference...Wranglers/Cherokees are also the same 15" / 5 x 4.5" bolt pattern right? I believe they are...are there others like maybe a blazer/or S-10?

Sweet. I just got some 31x10.50-15's. I cant wait to get them on. I think they are going on tomorrow. Can't wait to see how yours turns out.

so the old toyota trucks are different bolt pattern's than nissans? i didn't know that you mean like an old 4runner/or pickup type rim up too 95 will fit? what about the newer generations

Id stongly advise you not to do a 3in TT. I made the mistake of doing it to fit some 33's, you will lose all downtravel in your suspension and it will ride very very badly. It was so bad i took the 33's off till i could afford lift spindles.

Also for wheel look for the older rangers wheels, the ones that look like the mickey thompson wheels. They are pretty easy to find and will look nice.

thx for the TT info (carlover) i'll probably just wait and save for spindles whenever I upgrade too 33's better idea in the long run I suppose...yea i will get a set of those older ranger rims if they have some at the junkyard tomorrow...those are some of my favorite kind from ford...

you wont need 3" to fit the 31's for sure. Id say some shackles and the TT and the 31's and youll see a definite difference in the height.

hell yes one of my friends is starting too get good at welding and in a month or so were going to start making me a steel plate/tube front bumper, tube rear bumper with tire carrier, safari rack...his granddad has lots of tubing laying around so were going too get some beer and have a good ol' time...what has this site done too me 2 X's and mod crazy now lol u guys rock
