First dyno results (sheet posted)

Just made a trip to my friendly local dynojet center...did 2 runs with Air/Fuel monitoring.

sheet is here:

http://www.explorerforum.com/data/showphoto.php?photo=3564

I'm not sure why there was the big drop between the two runs, maybe someone here will have an idea after I've posted the dyno sheet.

Ambient air temp was around 80 degrees F.

Doing a little math:

155 (base model HP) x .25 (drivetrain loss) = 38.75
155 - 38.75 = 116.25

153.4 - 116.25 = 37.15

155 + 37.15 = 192.15 at the flywheel!

or if you take the low numbered run I come up with 176.85 HP at the flywheel. Hopefully I'm somewhere in between those two figures, at least. Either way, my headers and BBK supercharger should yield good results once installed :D

Here are my numbers for the 4.0L, I can't remember if this was flywheel or rear wheel number.

Peak Flywheel HP: 134 at 3740 rpms at 98 mph
Peak Flywheel Torque: 246 at 1796 rpms at 46 mph

Joe, I like that torque rating. What do you have done? I'll probably eventually do a dyno after I get an s/c.

when you dyno you have to be sure and let the car run for 30 seconds before you start the pull. That could be part of the problem. Also a 4.0L OHV usually makes 10HP more when it's cold, so by the second pull the air temps were much higher.

If you send me a dyno chart with air/fuel we may be able to tweak the chip and get some more out of it.

30 hp gain sounds about right with good intake, exhaust, tb, mas, and chip.
