I ended up getting it wired, through the door and into my window, lock switches panel and mounted the switch there. Lights are on and working, still haven't figured out what angle of up or down I am supposed to be doing but for now they are not blinding others. Thank you Tbars for your help with the link. !!! Next step, grille insert, bull bars, rear light strip and much much more. It's only a 4x2 so the mods are mainly for street and my personal gazing lovingly at it for hours !!!

After digging some more I have found two options that sound like something I could do. Run the load wire to the relay, run a load from relay to lights, ground the lights and ground at relay, run the load wire that came with the lights to the switch with fuse and ground the switch. OR tap the low beam fuse and use that as the power source with the aforementioned wiring scheme. Am I on the right track ? I don't want to burn out my truck's electrical system or even start a fire, this is my very first time in life dealing with wiring but it's been a very educational process. The fogs are 55watts with a 15 amp in the load wire, I have no idea what the switch can handle.

Tbars4 ^^^ Thanks, that clarified my thoughts on wiring, they last question is, in the picture it shows a line running to headlights, or parking lights, is this something I need to do ? So, the four prong relay would be my best bet ? Again thanks Tbars !!!

Hey, i have an issue wiring my aftermarket fog lights. i bought some Pilot driving lights and i bought blue tinted Pilot Xenon replacement bulbs so that my fogs would match my headlights (Sylvania Cool Blue) and the positive connector on the Xenon's is different from the bulbs that came witht he fogs. is there anything i can do to the Xenon's to change the connector? i was unable to find the same blue tinted Xenon'x with the different connector

The aftermarket fogs probably has H3 bulbs. This is one of the most common halogen bulb available for accessory lighting. H3 bulbs usually have the positive wire extended with a connector on the end (male or female spade or sometimes rarely a bullet connector).

Are you just referring to the connector at the end? Can you describe what the connector looks like? (A picture would be better). What do the connectors on the xenons look like? If it's just the connector at the end, you can usually replace that and the part is available at any automotive store that sells lighting and lamps

alright i got pics of both but im havin trouble finding the sticky on how to post pics on here

post somewhere like photobucket and link to them or become Elite!
