try searching full width sas. many ppl have done it. also look under the sas section. i personally wouldnt do it, mainly b/c on a trail i like the narrower vehicle. also what are your goals, what do you do with your ex? sand, mub, crawl... that will also help you out.

an 85 will have IFS up front, so if you wanna stay IFS I think someone one has tried. IFS is no fun once you've got SAS.

y not

hey froader y wont it work? i have heard of people doing that, it would be good for me, cause i like the whole tires extending out from the truck, i think it makes em look meaner.

hey everythintech , i dont really plan on doing a whole lot of trail stuff, cause it is my D/D truck, so, i cant afford to brake anything lol, i mean it is bad enought that im loosing second gear, but ya all i really want outa the 85 axles is the width, that is about it, got any ideas on how to get that extra width? i know you can get wider tires, but that also consists of getting wider rims, wich is outa the budget for a while

oh i see, so your axles you can get but its harder to get rims right? i konw what you mean, i am in that spot myself. Well honestly i dont konw alot about 1st gens, i have some ideas but i cant be on the computer too long, i will edit my post after work and we can brainstorm this together, i am curious too.

ight will do man
