YES I READ THE STICKY!

Okay I have a set of 35x12.50's and 15x8 rims and was wondering if I would be able to fit them under my 1994 Ford Explorer XLT. I was putting a 5.5in suspension lift but I am unable and unwilling to do a body lift or fender trimming to allow wheel travel. The vehicle is a daily driver and not going to be used that much off road. Is there anyway to get an extra inch or so to allow the tires room not to rub without a body lift?

Or is there a specific suspension lift someone has or used that allowed the tires clearance, i know each one is slightly different so I figured one might allow them to fit easily.

Or are there any larger lift kits available for my ex?

ALSO, will 15x8 rims cause any problems with the 12.5 wide tires? Will 15x10's be better?

********** EDIT
A buddy of mine told me that the ranger and the explorer have the same suspension and stuff would a 8 inch ranger lift kit work with my explorer?

and if so what kind of modification would be necessary to make it work? and would i get the whole 8 inches.

5.5 superlift can be stretched out to 6.5" or so using F-150 coil spring seats

In the rear if you still cannot clear your 35's after you go spring over, consider lift shackles and or a lift block in addition to the SOA lift.

Clearing 35's up front WITHOUT trimming and 6/5" of TTB lift will be tough
Every lifted truck is different, every 35" tire is different and wheels fit differently.

Without trimming it may be very difficult, with minor trimming it is very likely you will clear

there are 8" suspension systems available for your Explorer.
Fiberglass fenders up front would make it clear with only the 5.5 suspension in most cases
