I searched threads about parking lights and turn signals LED swap. Has anyone already done this and need a flasher relay to stop the hyper flashing? If so what part number and where to get one. I would rather not mess with resistors.

I just did a full exterior LED swap, and do not have the hyperflash nor used a flasher relay

Here is what I got:

http://r.ebay.com/955TKt (Front Turn Signals)

http://r.ebay.com/5rxQre (Rear Turn Signals, I did fold all the wires to one side so that all the lights on this came on when I turn on the turn signal)

http://amzn.com/B00JIHC36K (Front Side Markers)

http://r.ebay.com/kmvnKj (License plate, and interior)

Most of the newer LEDs seem to use the same current as the normal bulbs (so I've been told) and I've had good luck with my setup. Of course I tested each bulb before I put everything back together, Car Off (Alarm Arm/Disarm), Acc Mode, and Running

Can you post a video of your rear turn signals?

Do they not blink of you are holding the brake then? Doesn't seem smart...?

I'll try to get a video here soon, at work at the moment.

LOL Ignore my stupidity, I ment turn on the turn signal, not hit the brakes. The Ex's brake lights are their own set of LEDs and work independently of the rear turn signals.

The bulbs that I got has 4 wires, 2 for the center led, & 2 for the outer ones.

if you look at the base of most T25 bulbs you will see what I'm talking about: http://www.carledheadlightbulbs.com..._bulb_for_automotive_stop_lamp_dc_12v_24v.jpg

When I plugged in the bulb initially and turned on my turn signal only the outer ring lite up and wasn't very bright.

I realized that the backs only 1 set of a positive and negative connections on it, So I just found which side was positive and which was negative and moved the correct wires to the correct side and made them make contact with the car's terminals, and now both the inner and outer lights on the bulb light up so its nice and bright. Once you look at the bulb back there you will see what I mean, or the fronts have 2 elements and the rear have a single.

I'll get a video tonight, too sunny out and couldn't really see the turn signals on the camera

Most current LED bulbs offered now have the resistor built into the bulb assembly. Many of the threads here were created before this became a standard. If you purchase a quality bulb you should not have any problems with hyperflashing. I have used Cree rear turn signal bulbs with great results.
