Well last year when my tranny blew i decided to upgrade my cooler to help protect my $2200 investment, after some talking with a few hotrod guys at local speed shops i layed out the $200cdn and bought a remote fan assisted cooler.
I mainly use it when in 4lo crawling along steep trails and judgeing by my temp gauge it works very well.
Not a mod for everyone but well worth the money as far as i am concerned.
Pic is here you can see the 3 way manifold on the left side of the pic with the 2 wires on it, thats for the autometer gauge.
I wired it to a manual switch just under my rear wiper switch but it would be easy to rig it for a thermostat.
